Jot it in a journal... part III

A standard, desk-side companion is one of Starling Paper's lovely journals. Mine is the cheery orange print with blue binding, a high-quality notebook that is crafted of 100 percent recycled post-consumer content, made with wind power, and is chlorine free, acid free, and FSC Certified.

In it, you'll find 144 lightly lined pages for recording your steamy travel stories or keeping track of the best restaurants in Shanghai.

To grab your own, visit Plain White Press. Journals cost $24.

Thanks for the mention of our journals! They are now available in bookstores throughout the U.S. We went to extremes to make a journal that looked and felt like something high-end (and possibly toxic), but manufacturer to the greenest standards we could find. We like the ever-so-slightly flecky paper that we found for the writing surface.

p.s. We send free journal stickers and tabs (printed on recycled paper of course!) to anyone who shares their journaling ideas or steamy travel stories.

Thanks for the pointer, Julie! And thanks as well, for creating a great, green product.
