Booking travel today? (It's cold as ever here, and I'm dreaming New Orleans...) If so, check out HotWire.Just this morning, the company announced a partnership with TerraPass that will offer travelers discounted carbon offsets to fund TerraPass' clean energy projects. The discount, 50 percent, is picked up by HotWire. So the typical cost to offset your carbon emissions, $12 (for a two-week hotel stay, a one-week rental car, or a domestic flight), will now cost a mere $6. That's a cheap, clear conscience.
Want to see the projects being funded by you and HotWire? Check 'em out here. Then go and book your hotel, rental car, flight or cruise. Because really, you didn't need any convincing, did you?
