Our New, Free Guide to U.S. LEED Lodging

Download Green Globetrotter's newest, free travel guide PDF at link below
For the first time since I began this blog, an entire two months has lapsed since my last post (yikes!). That's a surefire sign that things are busy here at home, but it's also a sign that some changes are the horizon. While Green Globetrotter has always been a part-time passion, it's undoubtedly taken a backseat in 2010.

In the process of evaluating the blog and its value to readers, I've been thinking about what makes this blog different than others. And guess what? There's not too much that differentiates G.G. from the other green-minded musings out there. What I'd like to do is fix that.

Beginning today, I'm focusing my efforts on creating informative and useful resources that save the day when tired travelers are in search of inspiration. First up is something that I've been searching for online since the inception of G.G. - and never found. It's a guide to all of the lodgings in the U.S. that have been LEED certified. As new hotels are rated and certified, they'll be added to the listing, with hopes that in time, it will far exceed its current four page count.

Want to take a peek? Download Green Globetrotter's guide to U.S. LEED certified hotels in PDF format. For updates, corrections, or anything other comments, please email me here. Otherwise, enjoy!

[Note: Feel free to dispute the "style" I've alloted to each hotel. These labels are based on my own experiences at those properties I've visited, as well as general web research.]

Lastly, if you want to learn more about these LEED hotels and those that are striving for certification, check out G.G.'s LEED Hotels department.
